What is the difference between 15 and 18 characters? The 15 character ID is case sensitive. The 18 character version adds a 3 character checksum so the ID is safe in case insensitive tools like Excel and many report exports. SF ID Formatter calculates that checksum for you.
It says my ID is invalid. A Salesforce ID must be exactly 15 or 18 letters and numbers. The app strips spaces and quotes automatically, but a wrong length or stray symbols will flag it.
Does my data sync or get shared? No. Everything runs on your device. Nothing is uploaded.
